REBEKAH METTEER

While Rebekah Metteer stood in her kitchen over 15 years ago, she prayed; "Lord, let me be the kind of woman who takes a leap of faith without fear. I want to obey you with radical obedience. I want to be the kind of woman who lets go of anxiety, self-pity, and insecurity, and instead embraces all that you are calling me to do--not because of who I am, but because of who Christ is in me." In this moment, Loving The Leap Ministries was born.

An honest prayer from this pastor's wife and mom of three turned into a dynamic urgency as author Rebekah Metteer now speaks all over the States to see the body of Christ mended, whole, and obedient. Despite the great tension that we feel here in America, Rebekah believes that our greatest days of revival, repentance, and restoration are ahead. Rebekah Metteer studied Bible at Capernwray Bible School in England. She received her BA in English & Writing at Northwest University . She  is currently tackling her Master's degree in Bible & Theology. Rebekah is an author, speaker, and ordained minister with the Assembly of God. Rebekah's husband Dan is the Family Life Pastor at Eastridge Church in Issaquah, Washington. They both have a passion to see couples & families thriving together. The Metteer's have three children: Julia, Katie, and Andrew. As a little girl, Rebekah lived in Africa with her family. She watched her parents as they encouraged Pastors in Kenya to carry the call of Christ to their nation. Rebekah's Mom & Dad, Richard & Valerie Vicknair, now have a massive feeding program in the slums of Kenya. Through their ministry, WorldComp, they minister to orphans & widows, they offer hope to African prisoners, and they serve thousands of the sick and dying at their medical camps in the lowest of the slums. Loving The Leap Ministries has a deep desire to encourage missionaries in their vision to spread the Gospel of Christ. All of the profit from Rebekah's 30 day journeys go to support missions around the world. Each book funds a different nation: Africa through Richard & Valerie Vicknair, Ethiopia through Doug & Tasha Meyers, Israel through Steve & Taffy Carpenter, Indonesia through Waldemar & Rosemarie Kowalski.
